Song-Fen Kuo is recognized as a distinctive novelist in Taiwanese literature. Through this presentation, and as his sister, I intend to analyze and reveal the central themes that helped shape his unique writing style, both poetically and artistically. I will examine several works such as “Running Mother,” “Moon Seal,” and “Snow Blind,” to illustrate and extract points of relevancy that clarify and define his work. I will also explore and survey Song-Fen’s life experience, defined by his belief, philosophy, and limitless curiosity.
